JUST WHAT YOU NEED TO UNWIND AFTER THE CITY. Situated at the
rear of Craigellachie House, the purpose built Hostel has 3 bedrooms
and sleeps a maximum of 10 (4+4+2). The two larger bedrooms each sleep
up to four. There are 3 showers, 3 toilets,
a drying room, lots of hot water, a fully equipped kitchen, electric
central heating, and a lounge/dining area with a wood burning stove.
The Hostel is well placed for outdoor pursuits, field studies or less
strenuous activities. The Scottish National Cycle Route (Glasgow to
Inverness) passes the door as does the Coast to Coast Mountain Bike
Route. Shops are close by (100 yards) and local hotels serve excellent
bar meals. There is off-street parking behind the House. Smoking is
not allowed anywhere in the building. Note: there is no buses between Newtonmore and Fort William. See our "Where We Are" Page for more travel details. |
